Jesse Britt's Automotive
Fall 2020
This was a really fun and interesting project where I got to work with a real client in Waco to help him improve his online presence. He runs a decently large auto maintenance shop in town, and is well known for his ads on the radio and on local HEB receipts.
For this project I got to work with 3 teammates to deliver a better solution for his online platforms. Our deliverables ended up being the following:
A refurbished website that allowed customers to more easily see contact information and hours. It also featured pictures of his own workers rather than the stock images that were there.
We overhauled his social media (Facebook and Instagram), and we linked them both together so they would present a synchronous message. We also personalized it in the same way we did the website.
We conducted a search for a Baylor intern to replace the outsourced social media management he was using when we began the project. This was to further personalize his social media, and make it easier for him to manage since he is occupied with other things.
Our team tied for first place out of 10 teams that were assigned similar projects in the community. The judging was conducted by partners from CAPCO, Credera, KPMG, and Sendero.
