Personal Life
Here is a little about my personal life. I've listed some of my favorite activities and things that I feel define who I am. I've had many hobbies and interests over the years, and I have put them (the ones I could think of at least) here. I hope this helps tell a little about who I actually am outside of resumé items.
FISHING
My Dad took me fishing all the time when I was a kid and into high school. Being from Colorado, I have enjoyed the exceptional fishing in Texas (though I do miss the walleye).
I caught this fish in the Brazos river right in Waco. It's an impressive catch I know.
I fish all catch-and-release, so I let this little dude go right after a quick picture!
COLORADO
I'm originally from Longmont, Colorado (in the northern third of the state). My parents just moved to San Angelo, Texas, so unfortunately I won't be making it back to my home state with any frequency anymore.
I love to hike and explore. I took this picture on the last hike I took before I came to Baylor. It was one of the most amazing hikes (and views) I have ever seen!
MUSIC
I love to listen to music! I think it's so relaxing and I love following all my favorite bands' new releases.
My favorite band by far is Weezer, though I also love AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Offspring, and Panic at the Disco!, along with many others.
I made a playlist on Spotify of some of my favorite songs ot put on this site; I hope you enjoy it!
AIRPLANES
I have loved airplanes since I was a little kid. There's something about how well shaped they are and how gracefully they fly. I hope some day to get my pilot's license so I can fly for myself.
WWII fighter aircraft are of particular interest to me. My favorite plane is the P-47 Thunderbolt.
I have designed and built several flying model aircraft; it was my step up from paper airplanes.
This particular photo is of a T-28 Trojan at an air show in Waco. It made the most incredible sound when it flew by!
